Is pressure a vectror ? Explain.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Pressure is not a vector as it is always acting bormal to the plane on which it is acting and at one position inside the liquid it acts equally is all possible directions. Therefore the direction of pressure cannot be specified .Hence pressure in not a vector.
