Find the vector sum of N coplanar forces...

Find the vector sum of `N` coplanar forces, each of the magnitude `F`,when each force makes an angle of `2pi//N` with that preceding it.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Zero. Sence the total angle between (n) coplanar foreces`= (2 pi //2) xx n =2 pi`. It means the forces can be repesented by the various sieds of a closed polygon taken in one order, bence their resutant froce is zero.
