From the given condition,
(x-2)(x+3)=84
`:.x(x+3)-2(x+3)=84`
`:.x^(2)+3x-2x-6-84=0`
`:.x^(2)+x-90=0`
`:.x^(2)+10x-9x(x+10)=0`
`:.(x+10)(x-9)=0`
`:.x+10=0orx-9=0`
`:.x=-10orx=9`
But the age cannot be negative.
`:.x=-10` is unaccepatble.
