The correct Answer is:
Suyash scored 10 marks in the first unit test.

Let Suyash scored x marks in the first unit test.
Then he scored (x+10) marks in the second unit test. ltbtgt 5 times the marks in the second unit test =5(x+10) The square of the marks in the first unit test `=x^(2)`. From the given condition.
`5(x+10)=x^(2)`
`:.x^(2)=5(x+10)`
`:.x^(2)=5x+50`
`:.x^(2)-10x+5x-50=0`
`:.x(x-10)+5(x-10)=0`
`:.(x-10)(x+5)=0`
`:.x-10=0orx+5=0`
`:.x=10orx=-5`
But the marks cannot be negative.
`:.x=-5` is unacceptable.
`:.x=10`
