The correct Answer is:
The mean of weekly wages is Rs. `4250`.

Let us use 'Step Deviation Method'.
Take assumed mean `A = 500 , g = 2000`.

`baru = (Sigma f_(i)u_(i))/(Sigmaf_(i)) = (-45)/(120) = - 0.375`
Mean `barX = A + baru g`
` = 500 + (-0.375) xx 2000`
` = 5000 - 750`
` = 4250`
