Why does a tunnis ball bounce heigher on a hill than on plains?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The value of acceleration due to gravity is less on a hill than plains. Therefore, the gravitational pull of Earth on a body `(= mg)` is less on a mountain hill than on plains. That is why a tennis ball bounces heigher on a hill than on plains.
