Is it possible for a body to have inertia but no weight?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

yes, a body can have intertia (i.e., mass) but not weight. In a fact a body always has mass (i.e., intertial) but the gravitational force on it can zero. When a body is taken at the centre of the earth, it has mass `m`, but its weight `(= mg)` is zero.
