What is the ratio between the distance travelled by the oscillator in one time period and amplitude?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If r is the amplitude of oscillation of a particle in SHM, then distance travelled by the osdillator in one time period, 4r. Therefore, `(dist ance trave ll ed)/(amplitude)=(4r)/(r)=4`
