If the wavelength of incident light on a concave mirror is increased, how will the focal length of the mirror change ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The focal length of the mirror does not change on changing the wavelength of light incident on it. This is because `f = R//2`, i.e., `f` depends only one radius of curvature of the mirror.
