Distance between central maximum and `10 th` maximum `= 5 - 2 = 3 cm`. When `YDSE` apparentus is immersed in liquid of `mu = 1.5 = 3//2 , lambda` becomes `(2)/(3)` and fringe width also becomes `(2)/(3)`.
The position of central max remains unchanged i.e., at `y = 2 cm` but `10th` maximum shrinks to
`y = 2 + (2)/(3) (3) = 4 cm`
