What is the relation between D-glucose and L-glucose? Among D-glucose & L-glucose, which one provides energy to the body?

D-glucose and L-glucose are enantiomers, D glucose metabolises in the body and hence, contributes to the body's energy but L-glucose does not undergo metabolisation and has no role in energy production
