Current in arm `CAD , I = (V)/(4+4) = (V)/(8)`
Potential differece between `C` and `A`
`V_(C) - V_(A) = (V)/(8) xx 4 = (V)/(2)` volt
Current in arm `CBD , I' = (V)/(1+3) = (V)/(4)`
Potential differece between `C` and `B`
`V_(C) - V_(B) = (V)/(4) xx 1 = (V)/(4)` volt
`V_(A) - V_(B) = (V_(C) - V_(B))-(V_(C) - V_(A))`
`= (V)/(4)- (V)/(2)= - (V)/(4)`
It means `V_(A) lt V_(B) or V_(B) gt V_(A)`. So the direction of current in from `B` to `A`
