In steady state no currect will flow through capacitor using kirchhoff's voltage law to the circuit `ACD` we have

`+10+2= 1xxR+1xx2 or R = 10 Omega`

As `V_(D) = 0V or V_(C) = 2V`
pot on capacitor `= 4- 2= 2V`
