The correct Answer is:
(i)` 27.5 Omega` (ii)`30 Omega`

(i) The equivalent circiuit is

Here the resistance of arm `EFGH = 10+ 10+ 10 = 30 Omega`
it will be is parallel to resistance of arm `EH = 10 Omega`. Their equivalent resistance
`R_(P) = (10 xx 30)/(10 + 30) = 7.5 Omega`
Total resistance between `A and B`
`= 10 + 7.5 + 10 = 27.5 Omega`
(ii) The equivalent circuit will be (a) `126` Here the resistance of arm `EHG = 10 + 10 = 20 Omega` will be in parallel to resistance of arm `EFG = 10 + 10 = 20 Omega`

Effective resistance point `E and G`
`= (20 xx 20)/(20 + 20) = 10 Omega`
Total resistance point `A and C`
`= 10 + 10 + 10 = 30 Omega`
