If young' s double slit experiment is performed using white light, then

In a double slit experiment using a monochromatic light interference fringes are formed on a screen at a particular distance from the slits. If the screen is moved towards the slits by 5 xx 10^(-2) m then the fringe width changes by 3 xx 10^(-5) m. If the distance between the two slits is 10^(-3) m then determine the wavelength of the light used.

In Young's two slit experiment with monochromatic light fringes are obtained on a screen placed at a distance D from the slits . If the screen is moved by 5 xx 10^(-2) m towards the slits the change in fringe width 3 xx 10^(-5) m. If the distance between the slits is 10^(-3) m calulate the wavelength of the light used.

In Young's double slit experiment describe briefly how bright and dark fringes are obtained on the screen kept in front of a double slit. Hence obtain the expression for the fringe width.

In Young's double slit experiment if distance between the two sources is increased how will the fringe width be changed?

Using monochromatic light of wavelength 4000 Å fringes of width 0.1 mm are formed on the screen in Young's double slit experiment . If the screen is now shifted to twice the previous distance the what will be the fringe width of the interference pattern when a wavelength of 6000 Å is used ?

In Young's double slit experiment the ratio of intensities of bright and dark fringes is 9. This means

In Young's double slit experiment angular width of a fringe formed on a distant screen is 0.1^(@) . The wavelength of the light used in the experiment is 6000 Å. What is the distance between the two slits ?
