In all interference patterns, the width of a dark fringe is `y_(1)` and that a bright fringe is `y_(2)`. What will be the relation between `y_(1)` and `y_(2)`?

In an interference pattern width of a dark fringe is equal to that of a bright fringe.
Hence in this case `y_(1) = y_(2)`.
