Xe has 8 electrons in the outermost shell . In ` XeF_(2), 2`
electrons of Xe are shared with two F atoms to from
two covalent bonds i.e. there are 2 bond pairs . The
remaining 6 electrons from 3 lone pairs . Like wise
in ` XeF_(4)` , there are 4 on bond pairs and the remaining 4
electrons from 2 lone pairs , and in ` XeF_(6)` , there are 6
bond pairs and the remaining two electrons from one lone pair .
