A

increases

B

decreases

C

The correct Answer is:
A

Kinetic energies of molecules in liquids depend on temperature in the same way as they do in gases. To break away, the molecules must posses at least some minimum kinetic energy. At a higher temperature , a greater fraction of molecules possess at least that minimum energy. ZThus, the rate of evaporation increases as the temperature increases.
