A particle describes a horizontal circle on smooth inner surface of a conical funnel as shown. If the height of the plane of the circle. Above the vertax is `10cm`, find the speed of the paricle.

The force acting on the particle are `(i)`weight `(mg)` and `(ii)` normal contact force.
`N cos theta=mg` ….`(i)`
`N sin theta=mv^(2)/(r )` …`(ii)`
Dividing `(ii)` by `(i)`, we get
`tan theta=v^(2)/(rg)`
`(h)/(r )=(v^(2))/(rg)impliesv=sqrt(gh)=sqrt(10xx0.1)=1 m//s`
