The susceptibility of a paramagnetic substance was found for different temperaturee and a graph of x agains `(1)/(T)` was plotted from the graph it was found that when `x=0.5 , (1)/(T)=5xx10^(-3)/K` what is the curit constant for the substance

A

50 K

B

75 k

C

100 k

D

125 k

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
C

When x=0.5 .`(1)/()=5xx10^(-3)//K`
`therefore T= (1)/(5xx10^(-3)_)=(1000)/(5)=200 K`
or C=XT =`0.5xx200=100K`
