The correct Answer is:
C

Aqua regia is a mixture of concentrated nitric and hrdrochloric acid (1 to 3 by volume ). A highly corrosive liquid that attacks and dissolves. Hg, Au (forming chloroauric acid, `HAuCl_(4)`), and Pt (forming chloroplatinic acid, `H_(2)[PtCl_(6)]`
It attacks many substances unaffected by other reagents. It turns orange yellow owing to the formation of nitrosyl chlorise `(NOCl)` and free chlorine.
