बहुपद f (x ) को बहुपद g (x ) से विभाजित करने पर शेषफल प्रमेय की सहायता से शेषफल ज्ञात कीजिए तथा परिणाम की पुष्टि वास्तविक भोजन द्वारा भी कीजिए ।
`f(x)=4x^(4)-3x^(3)-2x^(2)+x-7,g(x)=x-1`

"`f(x) = 4x^4-3x³-2x²+x-7`
Put `g(x) = 0`
⇒`x-1=0` or `x = 1`
Remainder = `f(1)` Now,
`f(1) = 4(1)^4-3(1)3-2(1)²+(1) - 7`
=`4-3-2+1-7` = `-7`"
