In an isosceles triangle, base angles are equal.
Sum of all the angles of a triangle`=180^@`
Let `x` be a base angle.
`angleA+angleB+angleC=180^@`
`=>x+x+100^@=180^@`
`=>2x=80^2`
`=>x=40^@`.
`therefore` The base angle`=40^@`.
