"As we know that sum of all the angles of a triangle is `180^@`.
`angleA + angleB+angleC = 180^@`
`40^@+60^@+angleC=180^@` ( `therefore angleA=40^@ and angleB=60^@`)
`100^@+angleC=180^@`
`angleC=180^@-100^@`
`angleC=80^@`
Now, `angle A < angle B < angle C`
`BC < AC < AB` [`therefore` side opposite to greater angle is larger and side opposite to smaller angle is smaller ]
Hence, AB is longest and BC is shortest sides of the triangle."
