The sides of a triangle field are 325 ...

The sides of a triangle field are `325 m ,\ 300 m\ a n d\ 125 mdot` Its area is
`18750 m^2` (b) `37500 m^2` (c) `97500 m^2` (d) `48750 m^2`

Text Solution

"Let the sides of the triangles be `a=325m, b=300m and c=125m`
semiperimeter of the triangle, `s=(a+b+c)/2`
`s=(325+300+125)/2`
`s=375`
Now, area of triangle by using heron's formula = `(ssqrt((s-a)(s-b)(s-c)))`
`(375sqrt((375-325)(375-300)(375-125)))`
`18750 m^2`
Hence, option (a) is correct."
