In Figure, two congruent circles with centers `O\ a n d\ O '` intersect at `A\ a n d\ Bdot` If `/_A O^(prime)B=50^0,` then find `/_A P B`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

two congruent circles with centers `O\ a n d\ O '` intersect at `A\ a n d\ Bdot`
`/_AOB=50^0`
`OA=AB=O'A=O'B`(radii of congruent circles)
`OAO'B` is a rhombus
`/_AOB=/_AO'B=50^0`
Now, arc AB subtends `/_AOB` at the Centre and `/_APB` at the remaining part of the circle.
`/_APB=1/2 /_AOB=1/2xx50^0=25^0`
