A person in a lift which is moving with some accleration in upward direction throws a coin from point `A` so that if should fall at point `B` after some time. But accidentally when the coin was at the heighest point `w.r.t.` floor of lift, the cable of lift breaks off. Then : (Take `g = 10 m//s^(2)` and neglect air frication)

After the lift breaks off acceleration of ball `w.r.t.` person will be zero at velocity at that instant is in horizontal direction `w.r.t.` person. So the coin will hit point `C`.
