Find the indicated terms in each of the ...

Find the indicated terms in each of the following sequences whose ` n^(th)` terms are
` a_(n) = (a_(n-1))/(n^(2)) , (n ge 2) , a_(1) =3 , a_(2) , a_(3)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given , `a_(n)= (a_(n-1))/(n^(2) , n ge 2 and a_(1) = 3 `
` therefore a_(2) = (a_(1))/(4) = (3)/(4)`
` a_(3) = (a_(2))/(9) = (3)/(4) xx (1)/(9) = (1)/(12)` .
