Three cards are drawn successively without replacement from a pack of 52 well-shuffled cards . What is the probability that first two cards are queens and the third card drawn is a king ?

Let Q denote the event that the card drawn is queen and J be the event that the card drawn is a jack.
We have to find out P(QQJ)
Now, `P(Q)=4/52=1/13`
Also, `P(Q|Q)=3/51` (as one card (queen) has been drawn)
again, (P|QQ) = probability of coming jack in third draw when queen has come in 1st two draws
`=4/50`
`therefore` P(QQJ)=P(Q).P(Q|Q).P(J|QQ)
`=4/52xx3/51xx4/50`
`=2/5525`
