Prove that: `sin((4pi)/9+7)cos(pi/9+7)-cos((4pi)/9+7)sin("pi/9+7)=(sqrt(3))/2`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given as `sin((4pi)/9+7)cos(pi/9+7)-cos((4pi)/9+7)sin("pi/9+7)`
LHS
`sin((4pi)/9+7)cos(pi/9+7)-cos((4pi)/9+7)sin("pi/9+7)`
As we know that `sin(A - B) - sin A cos B - cos A sin B`
Therefore,
`sin((4pi)/9+7)cos(pi/9+7)-cos((4pi)/9+7)sin("pi/9+7)`
=`sin((4pi)/9+7-pi/9+7)`
=`sin(pi/3)`
