`=(cos ^{2} alpha+cos ^{2} beta-2 cos alpha cos beta)+(sin ^{2} alpha+sin ^{2} beta-2 sin alpha sin beta)`

`=(cos ^{2} alpha+sin ^{2} alpha)+(cos ^{2} beta+sin ^{2} beta)-2(cos alpha cos beta+sin alpha sin beta)`
