We have to proof that four points `(0,-1),(6,7),(-2,3)a n d(8,3)`are the vertices of a rectangle and find its area.
As, A(0-1), B(6,7), C(-2,3) and D(8,3) be the given points , then
`AD=sqrt((8−0)^2+(3+1)^2)`
`=sqrt(64+16)`
`= 4sqrt(5)`,
`BC=sqrt((6+2)^2+(7-3)^2)`
`=sqrt(64+16)`
`= 4sqrt(5) `,
