What type of non-idealities are exhibited by cyclohexane-ethanol and acetone-chloroform mixture? Give reasons for your answer.

Ideal solutions are those solutions which follow (i) Reoult's law (ii) `DeltaH_("mix")=0` (iii) `DeltaV_("mix")=0` (iv) Force of attraction between `A-A,B-B` and `A-B` are of same order.
Non-ideal solutions do not follow (i) Raoult's law (ii) `DeltaH_("mix")cancel=0 `(iii) `DeltaV_("mix")cancel=0`
It is because force of attraction between `A-B` and `B-B`.
Cyclohexane-ethanol mixture shows positive devlation from Raoult's law because forces of attraction between cyclohexane and etheanol are less than in pure cylcohexane as well as in pure ethanol. Acetone-chloroform mixture shows negative deviation from Raoult's Law because forces of attraction between acetone and chloroform are higher than that of pure acetone and pure chloroform.
