Anupama takes 125 minutes in walking a distance of 100 metre. What distance would she cover in 315 minutes?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let the distance traveled in `315` minutes be `x` km.
If the distance traveled is more, the time needed to cover it will also be more.
∴ It is a direct variation.
`125:315=100:x`
`⇒ x= (100×315)/125`
`⇒ x=252`
∴ Anupama would cover `252` meter in `315` minutes.
