Two conductor have equal amounts of the ...

Two conductor have equal amounts of the same type of charge. Can there be a difference of potential between them?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Potential of a conductor `= (" charge ")/(" capacitance ")`
So, in spite of the fact that the two conductors have equal charge, their potentials may not be equal if they have difference capacitances. There may exist a potential difference between them.
