Two copper spheres have the same radius....

Two copper spheres have the same radius. One of them is hollow and the other is solid. If they are charged to same potential, which sphere will hold a greater amount of charge?

The capacitance of a hollow or of a solid sphere placed in air is proportional to its radius. In this example, the capacitances of both the spheres are equal. Again amount of charge = capacitance `xx` potential. So, if the two spheres are charged to the same potential, they will hold the same amount of charge.
