A mangnet and a charged particle are placed near each other. State whether a force will act on the charged particle if the magnet is at rest but the charged particle is in motion

If there is a relative motion between the charged particle and the magnet, then only a force acts on the charged particle.
In both the cases there is relative motion between the magnet and the charged particle. So, a force act on the charged particle. But there is a special case. If the magnetic field velocity between the the magnet and the charged particle is parallel to the field, then also no force acts on the charged paritcle.
