Equal currents are flowing throgh two infinitely long conducting wires. State whether a magnetic field will exist at a point midway between the wires if they carry current in the opposite direction ?

When the direction of current in the two wires are opposite, at that point the matgnetic field will be twice the field due to any one wire, because in this case the mangetic field due to the two wires will be the same and in the same direction.
