Two wires of equal length of bent in the form of two loops of one turne each. One of them is square shaped, whereas the other in circular. Both of them are suspended in a uniform magnetic field. When the same current is passed throgh them, which one will experience greater torque ?

The torque on a current loop of current I and area `vecA`, in a magnetic field `vecB` is `tau=I vecAxxvecB`. For the two given loops, current I and magnetic field `vecB` are both the same . Now for equal lenghts of the boundary, the area of a circle is greater than that of a square. So that torque would be greater for the circular current loop.
