Two equally charged positive ions of `Ne^(20) and Ne^(22)` atom enters a uniform magnetic field perpendicular to the lines of force. Which one trajectory will have a larger radius of c urvatures ?

`Ne^(22)` ion is heavier than `Ne^(20)` ion
we know, `qvB=(mv^(2))/(r)`
`or, r=(mv)/(qB)`
then `r prop m`
So, `Ne^(22)` will have greater radius of curvature
