Find the (1) number of moles and (2) quantity in gram, contained in 100 L of ammonia at STP.

(1) At STP volume of 1 gram-mole of ammonia=22.4 L
`therefore`Number of moles in 100 L of ammonia=`(1xx100)/(22.4)=4.464`
(2) Now 1 gram-mole of ammonia=17g of ammonia [`because`molecular mass of ammonia=17]
`thereofre`4.464 gram-moles of ammonia`=(17xx4.464)`
=75888g of ammonia
thus, 100 L of ammonia at STP contained=75.888g.
