How much copper cann be obtained from 1000g of copperr sulphate `(CuSO_(4))` ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Molecular mass of `CuSO_(4)=63.5+32+(4xx16)`
`=159.5g*mol^(-1)`
Amount of Cu present in `159.5g` of `CuSO_(4)=63.5g`
Therefore, Cu present in 100g of `CuSO_(4)=(63.5xx100)/(159.5)=39.81g`
