If Avogadro number is changed from `6.022xx10^(23)mol^(-1)` to `6.022xx10^(20)mol^(-1)` this would change-

A

the definition of mass in units in gram

B

the mass of one mole of carbon

C

the ratio of chemical species, to each other in a balanced equation

D

the ratio of elements to each toher in a compound

The correct Answer is:
B

If Avogadro no. is changed from `6.022xx10^(23)mol^(-1)` to `6.022xx10^(20)mol^(-1)`, this would change mass of 1 mol C.
`because` 1 mol of carbon has mass=12 g
or, `6.022xx10^(23)` atoms of carbon have mass=12g
`therefore 6.022xx10^(20)` atoms of carbon have mass
`=(12)/(6.022xx10^(23))xx6.022xx10^(20)=0.012g`.
