Let, the atomic mass of the metal be x,
`therefore`molecular mass of `M=x+32+64+126=x+222`
Metal present in `MSO_(4)*7H_(2)O` is 9.75%.
`(x)/(x+222)xx100=9.75" "therefore x=23.98`
