Identify the orbitals having the following quantum numbers using the symbols s,p,d,f:
(1) n=4, l=2
(2) n=3, l=1
(3) n=2, l=0
(4) n=5, l=3,
(5) n=1, l=0
(6) n=3, l=2

For s,p,d and f-orbitals, the respective values of azimuthal quantum number, l are 0,1,2 and 3. again the principal energy levels are designated by the value sof principal quantum number. On the basis of their information, the orbitals characterised by the given quantum number have been identified.
(1) n=4, l=2: 4d orbital
(2) n=3, l=1: 3p orbital
(3) n=2, l=0: 2s orbital
(4) n=5, l=3: 5f orbital
(5) n=1, l=0: 1s orbital
(6) n=3, l=2: 3d orbital.
