On what factors does the value of total kinetiic energy of the molecules in a gas depend?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The total kinetic energy of the molecules of 1 mol gas `=(3)/(2)RT`
The total kinetic energy of n mole gas `=nxx(3)/(2)RT`
Therefore, the total kinetic energy of any gas depends upon the temperature and the quantity of the gas.
