Calculate the temperature of 4.0 mol of ...

Calculate the temperature of 4.0 mol of gas occupying 5 `dm^(3)` at 3.32 bar. (R=0.083 bar`*dm^(3)*K^(-1)*mol^(-1)`)

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

To calculate the temperature of the gas, we apply ideal gas equation, PV=nRT
As given, P=3.32 bar, V=5`dm^(3)` and n=4 mol
Putting these values into the equation, PV=nRT, we
have `T=(PV)/(nR)=(3.32xx5)/(4xx0.083)=50K`
