How is dihydrogen used in the manufacture of chemicals?

Organic compounds : Hydrogen will be added to the double bonds and triple bonds present in the unsaturated organic compounds in the presence of catalyst.
`CH_(2) = CH_(2) + H_(2) overset(Ni)(rarr) CH_(3). CH_(3)`
`HC -= CH + 2H_(2) overset(Ni)(rarr)CH_(3). CH_(3)`
A mixture of `H_(2)` and CO is added to 1-alkene to give aldehydes which are further reduced to alcohols. This reaction is known as hydroformulation.
`R CH + CH_(2) + H_(2) + CO rarr R CH_(2) - CH_(2) CHO`
`R CH_(2) CH_(2) CHO + H_(2) rarr R CH_(2) CH_(2) CH_(2) OH`
In the manufacture of chemicals:

(b) Ammonia is manufactured by Haber's process.
