Troposphere: Troposphere is the area of atmosphere from 0-11km. It is te nearest region to the earth surface. It contains 70% of the atmospheric mass. It mainly contains `N_2,O_2`. ltBRgt Stratosphere: Stratosphere is the area of atmosphere between 10 and 50 km above the troposphere. It contains ozone layer. This ozone layer absorbs ultraviolet radiations from the sun and protect the life on earth.
