Equal lengths of magnesium ribbons are taken in test tubes A and B. Hydrochloric acid is added to test tube A. while acetic acid is added to test tube B. Amount and concentration of both the acids are same. In which test tube will the fizzing occur more vigorously and why?

The speed of the reactions is higher in X test tube than Y test tube.
Reason:
1) HCl is a strong acid and `CH_3COOH` is a weak acid.
2) Due to strong acidic N/Ature, Hydrochloric acid reacts very fast with magnesium ribbon.
